About Scott Randle:

I was born in San Diego in 1951.  My entire educational background, from my earliest years, has been directed towards fine and commercial art.

Many years of study were spent learning about color, composition and perspective while my own natural creative abilities were developed.  I worked extensively in watercolor, acrylic, ceramics and pencil during this time.

I started making photographs as fine art in 1976 and along with the encouragement and praise of others, began showing in '84.

Seascapes are my specialty, however I enjoy diversity.  In the past few years,  I have had pictorials published on windsurfing and motorcycle racing.  I shot the Grand Prix of Motorcycle Races, numerous live stage performances, and spent a week shooting ballet.

Two and a half months of surf photography produced my "Aqua Wave" image.  Numerous excursions yielded "Lighthouse Point".  To capture the absolute beauty of the West Coast of California.

Currently much of my work is held in private and corporate collections.

In 1997 I was published in Surfer Magazines's Annual Collector's Edition and published again in 1998.  I also studied black and white photography at the Art Institute of San Francisco the same year.  I was again published in Photographer's Forum - Best of Photography Annual in 1998.
